This fat little Grapevine Beetle flew straight into my hair one evening - he promptly got his portrait painted with the addition of an ideal backdrop. He was then released into the fence row from whence he came.

My art is derived from the natural world - there is always something to learn. I work mainly with 2 medias and surfaces - either watercolor on paper, or oil on canvas. My individual subject will dictate the style - and at times will be used metaphorically.
